Hannah shared with me that one thing she really wanted captured during their session was the coziness of having a newborn at home.
To me, this session just exudes coziness.
From the minute I walked into the door of their beautiful and peaceful home, I felt welcomed into a cozy and loving atmosphere.
Hannah and Harrison seemed so excited to be parents and so in love with little Garrett, it gave me new appreciation for my little babies (and honestly, some baby fever for a third babe as well…).
When my families let me in,
are vulnerable with their stories,
share their hopes & dreams for the session,
what makes them THEM- I do not take it lightly.
I think on it before I go to the session, I really focus on documenting it honestly during their session.
I feel incredibly honoured to be trusted with their stories and their hopes.
When families tell me I captured their essence perfectly, it is the hugest compliment!
They’re making themselves vulnerable by sharing and connecting and opening up. I’ll always share my experiences as well, I love embracing each new person I meet like a friend! It’s how I’ve always been.
I’m making myself vulnerable by creating art- artwork of the deep love within a family.
Together, by letting each other in, we can capture moments honestly & beautifully.
